One of the most enjoyable and creative parts of decorating a home comes with adding accessories to our rooms. This includes, but is not limited to the holidays! I wanted to share some different ideas for Fourth of July with everyone, so I decided to have a show and tell of some of my past celebrations and vignettes! I wanted to share these in plenty of time for you to be able to add some to your upcoming Fourth, should you want to.
The first one I did was a new recipe I tried last year. My Freedom Punch! This was a huge hit with everyone. I have to say, you will find even the adults admiring the fact that this punch stays separated no matter what!
See how it stayed separated even after we poured it into the cups?
I made these cupcakes for a quick grab on our way down to see the fireworks!
This is an Atlanta Braves cake I made for my hubby this year on Memorial Day. I included it because it rocks the red, white and blue! You can have this cake on the Fourth too!
This was a Fourth of July Chocolate Bar I did a few years back for a cookout. We had a blast dipping all the different treats in my chocolate fountain.
I displayed several treats on my hutch for easy access! I dipped strawberries and pretzel rods in white chocolate and then sprinkled blue sugar crystals over the chocolate to give them a festive look. The cupcakes I set out for everyone to enjoy. I added some festive plates displaying Old Glory along with matching napkins and this made a cute Fourth of July vignette.
We love to dress for the Fourth of July around our home. We are proud to be Americans living in the land of the free and home of the brave! We are known to eat good old American apple pie and ice cream on the Fourth, and slice open a fresh watermelon while watching some fireworks. This is just a few of our Fourth of July memories and pictures that we wanted to show and tell with you!
